Steamed sea bass with lime


  • 1 sea bass
  • 2 limes
  • 3 slices of ginger.
  • 6 cloves of garlic.
  • Two red peppers.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • A pinch of pepper.
  • 3 table spoons of sugar.
  • 1 table spoon of fish sauce.
  • 1 table spoon of cooking wine.
  • A pinch of chicken powder.

How to make it

• Step 1

Wash the sea bass with water, cut the bass from the side, and pickle it with the salt for 15 minutes. Cut the peppers, garlic into small pieces, slice up one lime for later use. Squeeze the other lime and save the juice.

• Step 2
Add cooking wine, and pepper to the fish and marinate for another 10 minutes. Afterwards, cover it with the peppers, and garlic.

• Step 3
Mix the lime juice with the sugar, and chicken powder. Pour the mixture over the fish and sprinkle with the fish sauce.

• Step 4
Steam the fish over high heat for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
