Sweet Sour Spare Ribs

• 500 grams of spareribs.
• 50 grams of rock sugar.
• 3 slices of ginger
• ½ table spoon of white sesame seeds.
• 1 table spoon of cooking wine.
• 2 table spoons of dark soy sauce.
• 4 table spoons of white vinegar.
• 1 green onion.

How to make it

• Step 1
Wash the spare ribs with water. Put a pot on the stove, pour some cold water, add in the spareribs, and bring to a boil. When it’s done, take out the spareribs.

• Step 2
Heat some oil in a pan and caramelize the rock sugar over medium heat. Turn down the heat, add the spareribs and stir fry. Turn the heat to medium and add the cooking wine, dark soy sauce, white vinegar, and ginger slices. Stir fry this mixture.

• Step 3
Pour a cup of hot water over the ribs, turn the heat down and let it simmer for about 30 minutes. Chop up the onion into small pieces. Afterwards, plate up the spare ribs, and sprinkle them with white sesame seeds and the green onion as a finishing touch.
