Hoisin Spareribs

  • 400 grams of ribs.
  • 10 grams of ginger.
  • 1.5 tablespoon of Hoisin sauce.
  • 1.5 tablespoon of cooking wine.
  • 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce.
  • ½ tablespoon of old soy sauce.
  • 10 grams of sugar.
  • One green onion.

How to make it

  • Step 1

Chop the ribs into strips, soak in water and wash the blood off. Then chop the scallion and ginger into small pieces.

  • Step 2

Heat up the oil in the pan, add in the scallion, ginger, and ribs, and stir fry until the ribs are discolored. Then put in the cooking wine.

  • Step 3

Add the Hoisin sauce, light soy sauce, old soy sauce, sugar, and water up to two-thirds of the ribs.

  • Step 4

Stir fry the dish for about three minutes, cover the pan and let it simmer for about 20 minutes to let the water evaporate. Serve the ribs on a plate and sprinkle with the green onion.
